Ravens vs. Chiefs is one of the more intriguing matchups of the NFL playoffs' Wild Card Weekend. Sunday afternoon's game will pit two teams with explosive running games and efficient passing games who rely on steady offensive production balanced out by opportunistic defensive play.
Kansas City had suffered through three straight dismal seasons, winning a combined 10 games over three ugly years for a proud franchise. Under second-year coach Todd Haley, the Chiefs experienced a renaissance, rushing out to a 3-0 record and then ultimately posting a 10-6 regular season mark, while capturing the AFC West title.
The Baltimore Ravens head into Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium the favorite of the oddsmakers, despite three of their four regular season losses this season coming on the road. The reasoning has to be that Baltimore's defense picked up its performance in the final two weeks, after struggling somewhat in two late-season games against the New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans...
