Bear Trap: Chicago Caught in 23-20 Loss to Seahawks

The Bears got caught in their own “bear trap” on Sunday.
With all the hype of Chicago’s defense and the return of Jay Cutler, the Bears overlooked the Seahawks by expecting to win, but instead let this game snap on their paws with a loss of 23-20 to Seattle.
The visiting Seahawks had proved to be a major disappointment on the road and were really expected to lose, according to all the experts.
The Bears, who had been dominant on the defensive side of the ball for the last two games, didn’t get it done on Sunday. "The New Monsters of The Midway” was the term that was being thrown around going into this game. This was because of the success they had been having as of late, including a win in Carolina last week that the defense had to pull out.
The leader of this defense, Julius Peppers, seemed to be taken out of the game, with many different schemes and double teams all day from the Seahawks offensive line.
