Bills’ Complaints About Laser at Ford Field Trigger Investigation by Lions

After a couple of Buffalo Bills players complained about a laser being pointed at them during Sunday's game at Ford Field, the Detroit Lions announced they would look into the matter.
At different points in the game, quarterback Kyle Orton and kicker Dan Carpenter each complained about someone from the stands pointing a green laser at them. In fact, the laser may have contributed to Carpenter missing a 50-yard field-goal attempt in the third quarter.
"It was shining on [holder] Colton [Schmidt] on the hold," Carpenter said, per MLive.com's Justin Rogers. "As far as that goes, I understand the NFL security is looking into it to see if they can figure anything out."
Orton and Carpenter were, however, able to shake off the laser-pointer incidents and lead their team to a 17-14 victory.
