Buffalo Bills rookie left tackle Ed Wang has been carted off the field at the end of a voluntary minicamp practice with a left leg injury after colliding with a defensive player.
The Bills held an open practice for fans to attend today and during the practice Wang fell to the ground in pain and could not get up.
Wang was carted off the field.
Since the NFL draft Ed Wang has gained notoriety as the first full-blooded ethnic Chinese player drafted by the NFL.
Wang was selected with the 9th pick in the 5th round (140th overall) by the Buffalo Bills.
He was projected to be a back-up but with the inconsistency of the Buffalo offensive line anything was possible.
Last season the Bills had more players on IR than any other team and new head coach Chan Gailey has come in and instituted tougher practices to make his guys stronger.
So far not a good start for the Buffalo Bills.
