Brandon Pettigrew Injury: Updates on Lions TE’s Recovery from Knee Surgery

Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list due to the knee injury he suffered late last season.

Pettigrew Placed on PUP List Sunday, July 24 Per the Lions' official website, Pettigrew was one of three Detroit players placed on the PUP list alongside wide receiver Corey Fuller and offensive tackle Corey Robinson.
Pettigrew Set to Slide in Behind Ebron When Healthy Pettigrew emerged as one of quarterback Matthew Stafford's top targets during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, but his role steadily waned from 2012 through 2014 before he tore his ACL after making eight appearances a year ago. 
Prior to suffering the season-ending knee injury, Pettigrew posted a career-low seven catches for 67 yards and a single score.
