Brees Becomes 1st QB to Post Impressive Stat Line 30 Times

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has become the first quarterback to throw for 300 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions 30 times in a career.
He accomplished that feat with his effort Sunday against the 49ers, per NFL Communications. Brees finished the contest with 323 yards passing and three touchdowns. He's now thrown for 300 yards and three touchdowns on 55 occasions throughout his career.
Due to a poor defense, the Saints and Brees have had to sling the ball around in a lot of shootout games this season. They own just a 4-4 record after Sunday's 41-23 victory over San Francisco despite scoring the second-most points per game (30.3) in the league this season. The only team they trail is the division-rival Atlanta Falcons.
Brees has been a proficient passer throughout his career. He's led the league in passing yards six different times and topped the league in passing touchdowns four times.
He's off to another strong start in 2016. ...
