Brett Favre Achieves Another Milestone

The New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings were facing each other in the Monday night classic this week. Despite Brett Favre's three touchdown passes, the Jets edged the Vikings by the score of 29-20.
Yesterday, Favre became the first NFL quarterback to register 500 TD passes or more in a career. During the third quarter, Favre registered his 500th TD pass when he threw a long ball that WR Randy Moss caught in the end zone.

The newest acquisition for the Vikings had a positive impact on Minnesota who was trailing 12-0 before Moss' TD.

Up 12-7, the Jets registered their fifth field goal of the match after a fantastic kickoff return and took an eight-point lead, 15-7.
Despite a nagging tendinitis to his right elbow, Favre orchestrated another successful drive. Percy Harvin's 37-yard TD reception brought the Vikings within two points. But the two-point conversion failed, the Jets still up 15-13.
