Brett Favre May Have Already Had Ankle Surgery, Report States

According to a recent report by Viking Update Magazine, there is reason to believe that QB Brett Favre may have already undergone surgery for his injured ankle this week in Mississippi.
In the story released Thursday, Viking Update said that an anonymous professional athlete —who in the past has undergone surgery by Dr. James Andrews of Birmingham, AL—tried calling Andrews on Thursday morning to set up an appointment.
The player was notified that Andrews—who conducted the operation to Favre's injured right arm that allowed him to sign with the Vikings last offseason—was out of town this whole week.
In that conversation, the player was told that Dr. Andrews was “in Mississippi working with an old quarterback" and performing a procedure.
