Brett Favre: Why the Future Hall of Famer Should Have Just Retired

I know it is only the beginning of the season, but when you're off to a start like Brett Favre, you would have probably been better off retired. 
Favre in two games has been very inconsistent. He has thrown one touchdown, four interceptions, and for only 396 yards. 
It has only been two games, but Favre is 40 years old, he had ankle surgery this offseason, but I don't think that ankle is 100 percent. 
When you get older and you have injuries, it's harder to heal.  
Yes, his receivers haven't exactly helped their quarterback out, but you've got to lay some of the Vikings struggles, simply because he has been turning the ball over. 
Favre needs help from his wideouts, but he also needs to stop making bad decisions. 
If Favre can't improve soon, then the Vikings (who are two games behind the Bears and Packers) will have no shot at the playoffs.
