Browns’ Win Saves Team at Least $3.5 Million: Enough for Josh Cribbs Contract?

How much money can a win save you?  For the Cleveland Browns, the week 17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars saved them over $3.5 million in guaranteed money because they moved down two slots in the draft.  Over the life of a five-year contract, it would be over $12.5 million.
This straight-forward analysis used the contracts signed in 2008 by Glenn Dorsey (picked fifth by Kansas City), and Sedrick Ellis (picked seventh by New Orleans) to determine the difference.  While using 2009 NFL draft data would have been ideal, the fact that Mark Sanchez was drafted fifth threw off any potential analysis because of the increased amount QBs are paid in the NFL.
What does $3.5 million guaranteed, and $12.5 million over five years buy you these days in the NFL?  Hopefully, a contract extension for an All-Pro KR/PR/Gunner/Flash QB who helped you beat the Jaguars.
