Cam Newton to Dallas Cowboys: One Old Dallas Sports Writer Has Lost His Mind

Randy Galloway is a long-time, highly respected figure in Dallas. He has been covering sports in Dallas for more than 30 years. He has written for every major Dallas paper, and has been a staple of Dallas sports talk radio forever.
Unless I'm mistaken, he wrote a scathing article on the officiating during the infamous David and Goliath skirmish. For the record, he thought David was lucky.
Mr. Galloway has, over the years, had his hits and misses just like everyone else that covers teams for a living. 
Randy Galloway has been accused of being pompous, egotistical, outspoken, brash and just about any other adjective that more or less means he says whatever he thinks will piss people off.
What Randy Galloway isn't however is stupid. He has been in this business long enough to know that outlandish comments mean readers/listeners. He knows that the crazier something sounds, the more attention he gets.
The tricky aspect is to find that tightrope ...
