Cardinals-Chargers: San Diego More Than a TD Favorite With NFL Lines

The San Diego Chargers are off to yet another slow start under coach Norv Turner. Considering how they have bounced back in recent years, it’s hardly time to hit the panic button.
San Diego will look to get back to the .500 mark when it hosts the 2-1 Arizona Cardinals Sunday, and NFL odds makers are giving the lightning bolts the nod. They have listed the Chargers as an eight-point favorite with the total set at 45.5.
In four seasons with Turner at the controls the Bolts have gone just 6-8 in September, but they have rebounded to win the AFC West each of the last three years. Sooner or later, San Diego has to go on another one of its patented winning streaks. Right?
The Chargers won their final six games in 2007. In 2008, they won their last four. Last year, they finished the regular season with 11 straight victories.
