With the Carolina Panthers (7-8-1) and Seattle Seahawks (12-4) divisional round playoff game just moments away, it has become clear that, despite records, Carolina is more similar to the Seahawks than any other franchise.
Both teams take eerily identical approaches on the offensive side of the ball. They both feature mobile quarterbacks that utilize the read-option, along with dominant rushing attacks and feature nondescript receiving corps.
Though it's tough to match the "Legion of Boom," both of these teams have physical secondaries and are carbon-copies of each other in the front seven. Despite all that, Seattle is the week's only double-digit favorite at 11 points and finally get the benefit of playing at home after three years of facing the Panthers in Carolina.
