Chargers Negotiations: Why They Will Keep Merriman, Jackson and McNeill

A.J Smith usually negotiates Contracts in San Diego  with the secrecy  and of a mob boss.  Smith is  tougher  to read than a  Chinese dictionary. However, Smith is not Don Corleone, he is not operating any illegal scams, and he has over a million people wondering what he's doing.
According to polls, Charger fans are drawn right down the middle when it comes to evaluating Smith, his style, and his dealings with the team. For every fan saying he's an idiot, there will be one saying he's a genius. For every one who says he is too stubborn, there is one saying he has a hell of a strategy. 
Okay, I will admit, the uncertainty of the whole Charger free agency has upset, concerned, and worried me at times. But, in examining the whole situation, I have come to the conclusion that the Chargers will start the season with Marcus McNeill, Vincent Jackson and Shawne Merriman.
