Charles Clay Signs Bills’ Offer Sheet: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

Charles Clay has officially put the Miami Dolphins on the clock. On Tuesday, Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News broke the news that the free-agent tight end and the Buffalo Bills agreed to an offer sheet.
Miami now has five days to decide whether to match the Bills' offer, which is a five-year, $38 million deal with $20-plus million in guarantees, according to Carucci and Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports:
The Dolphins made a previous offer to Clay, but Michael Silver of NFL Network reported that deal paled in comparison to the Bills' potential contract, coming in at four years and $27 million.
Clay, 26, made 58 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns last season. A reliable pass-catcher, Pro Football Focus' measurements had Clay fourth among tight ends in drop rate, though he's struggled when asked to pass block.
