Chuck Pagano Reportedly Won’t Be Retained by Colts: Latest Details and Reaction

In his first three seasons as Indianapolis Colts head coach, Chuck Pagano overcame cancer while pushing the the team to a playoff appearance each year. A lost fourth season has apparently cost him his job.
SportsCenter reported Thursday the Colts do not plan to retain Pagano for a fifth season unless the team makes the postseason. Indianapolis enters Week 17 at 7-8, one game behind the Houston Texans for the AFC South lead. The Colts need nine results to go their way Sunday to win the division because Houston currently carries the strength of schedule tiebreaker.    
After the report, owner Jim Irsay said, "As of today, no decision has been made with respect to any structural changes within the Colts organization for 2016 and beyond."
