Cleveland Browns By the Numbers: Jake Delhomme Is Not the Answer

The Cleveland Browns announced that Seneca Wallace would be the starter in Week 5 a few hours prior to today's game at Cleveland Browns Stadium versus the Atlanta Falcons.
Riding high off a win against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Browns were looking to string together two wins in a row, but penalties, bad plays, a lack of a running game, and many other things led to the Browns losing their fourth game this season.
Now sitting at 1-4 and in the bottom of the AFC North, many fans are beginning to talk quarterback controversy after Wallace left the Falcons game with an ankle injury and substitute Jake Delhomme was a non-factor.
Delhomme had a fantastic preseason with a passer rating over 100 and zero interceptions, but it was only the preseason, period.
In Week 1, Delhomme hurt his ankle and played subpar football, and Wallace came in to spell him.
Wallace has played solid football for three-and-a-half weeks, keeping the Browns competitive and in games each week.<...
