Cleveland Browns Roster Cuts: Colt McCoy on The Bubble? Not a Chance

The Cleveland Browns used their third round pick on Texas quarterback Colt McCoy in this past 2010 NFL Draft.
Much was told to the media regarding the process within the Browns' draft war room when it came time to pick McCoy and the biggest news was that president Mike Holmgren was patient and knew he had to hold out for as long as possible from picking a quarterback in the draft in order to fill holes in other areas of the roster.
Then when the Browns were on the clock in the third and McCoy was still available, Holmgren flexed some use of his team president power and told, not asked but told, general manager Tom Heckert that he had to pull the trigger and take McCoy at that moment.
It was also reported that both Heckert and head coach Eric Mangini were a bit on the fence regarding McCoy, but they cannot hold anything over the guy who has a deep resume of quarterbacks including two current Hall of Famers and one guaranteed one to boot.
