Cleveland Browns Should Seek Chicago Bears TE Greg Olsen in Trade

With free agency now underway and the 2010 NFL Draft around the corner, the rumor mill is in full swing. One of the circulating topics happens to include the Chicago Bears trading their star tight end Greg Olsen.
Though mere speculation, the trade seems highly probable for several reasons, the first being the hiring of offensive coordinator Mike Martz.
Martz adopts the philosophy that tight ends are primarily blockers and not receivers. This is bad news for Olsen who does not fit such a profile. He was Jay Cutler's favorite target leading his team in receptions (60) and receiving touchdowns (eight) in 2009.
Of course, this may not mean that much in and of itself. Certainly, Martz could tweak his system a little to allow room for a talent such as Olsen's. (I'm sorry. Did I just say that a coach might change his system a little? Anyway, back to reality...)
