Dallas Cowboys Made the Right Decision by Letting Flozell Adams Leave

While it might not seem like it right now, the Dallas Cowboys made the right decision by getting rid of Flozell Adams.
Cowboys fans have criticized the team's offensive line, citing as a reason why the high-powered passing attack isn't getting off the ground. They're also being blamed for the running backs performing under expectations. The majority of mock drafts have the Cowboys picking up an offensive tackle very early next spring.
Meanwhile, Adams has found himself a new home. The veteran was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers, who wisely shifted him from left tackle to right tackle. He's not playing on a Pro Bowl level by any means, but he has been a stabilizing force for their offensive line.
Combine those two things, and you can easily see why people are criticizing the Cowboys for letting Adams leave.
Well, you have to look further than that to see the truth.
At the time, the Cowboys felt that Adams, who is now 35 years old, was starting to decline.
