Danny Amendola Injury: Latest on Patriots WR’s Recovery from Knee, Ankle Surgery

New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola underwent surgeries on his left knee and ankle during the offseason, and his status heading into the team's offseason training program is uncertain.

Amendola Underwent 2 Procedures in Offseason Monday, May 16 Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reported the Patriots "hope" Amendola will be ready for training camp. However, it's uncertain at this time whether he'll even be ready for the beginning of the regular season. 
Amendola, 30, had 65 receptions for 648 yards and three touchdowns in 2015. He appeared in 14 games and became a focal point in the offense when Julian Edelman missed seven games due to injury. 
As has been the case throughout his career, though, Amendola was not without his own problems. The knee issue cost him two games during the regular season, and he struggled to stay fully healthy throughout the playoffs.
