Darrelle Revis is currently seeking a new deal in hopes of matching what Nnamdi Asomugha is making. Many people feel he deserves it. He is widely regarded as the leagues premier shut down corner.
But is he in Asomugha's league?
In many of the many debates over who the better corner of Asomugha and Revis, none  end in a unanimous decision.
Raiders fans rest assured that Asomugha is No. 1, and Jets fans rest assured Revis is No. 1. In a comparison of the two, I found it a difficult task in finding a fair evaluation.
Running backs and quarterbacks are easy. Averages can be made within minutes with a calculator. A passer rate could be figured out by the average 8th grader.
With cornerbacks, you have a much different guideline, and not many stats to support either claim.
I did manage to find some pretty important measures in outlining a very balanced competition which outlines every important facet of the corner position.
