Dear Zygi Wilf: No Time Like the Present To Fire Brad Childress

Minnesota Vikings fans are screaming it, the owner is thinking it and Brad Childress is waiting for it. At this point the question isn't if, but when, Childress is going to be fired.
In the past couple of weeks, if Childress' goal was to divert attention away from Brett Favre and his amateur photography club, congratulations to Mr. Childress. This is the second touchdown he is responsible for this season—the other being the Andrew Quarless TD catch he failed to challenge, ultimately costing the Vikings the game against the Green Bay Packers.
I hate to say this, but Childress could be suffering from Turner-Phillips Syndrome—a coach who is nothing more than a coordinator.
I haven't seen someone this disliked since George W. Bush's second term.
So I guess the next Vikings coach will be an African American with a full head of hair, common sense and people skills.
