Detroit Lions: Darrius Heyward-Bey Is a Perfect Fit for Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions overhaul apparently isn't over.
Plenty of holes were in need of filling due to injuries, lack of depth, or cuts from the team. The Lions have been on the prowl to address their most glaring deficiencies.
Adding running back Reggie Bush to the backfield, defensive end Jason Jones for line depth and safety Glover Quin in the secondary shows how aggressive general manager Martin Mayhew has been in trying to upgrade this less-than-impressive roster.
Even after all their offseason activity so far, the Lions don't seem to be done. According to Dave Birkett from the Detroit Free Press, Detroit is set to host free agent wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey on Wednesday. 
The former 2009 first-round draft pick's career with the Oakland Raiders came to a close in early March after being released. After being the No. 9 selection of his draft class, many believe Heyward-Bey was a bust in Oakland. His best year came in 2011 when he caught 64 passes for 975 ya...
