Detroit Lions: Drew Stanton Shows Potential Against Chicago Bears

Drrew Stanton, our 2nd round pick out of Michigan State, has shown Lion’s fans—as well as the rest of the NFL—how far he has progressed since his last start against the Arizona Cardinals.
In my earlier article, 10 players who need to step up or get out, Drew Stanton was on the lsit. 
Drew has since proved himself worthy of his name being taken off the list. 
Drew looked great completing 16 of 24 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. 
He also ran five times for 12 yards and another TD. 
Oh yeah, and for the first time in his career, Drew did not commit a single turnover. 
He didn’t force passes or make rookie mistakes.
He improvised when needed to and, above all else, moved the ball down the field.
Although the game was lost, Stanton showed that he wasn’t a wasted pick.
I am indeed interested to see how the rest of his career in Detroit will pan out.
