Donte Moncrief Injury Update: Colts WR Ruled Out for Week 15 vs. Vikings

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief was ruled out of his team's Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings on Friday due to a hamstring injury, per Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star. 
The third-year player suffered the injury during Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, and he was considered day-to-day, per Mike Chappell of Fox59. After missing an entire week of practice, he won't be able to compete in a key game for the Colts.
Moncrief posted strong numbers in his second season, catching 64 passes for 733 yards and six touchdowns despite quarterback Andrew Luck missing nine games.
The 23-year-old wideout has struggled to recreate that success in 2016, though. Through eight games, Moncrief has 28 receptions for 277 yards and six touchdowns. Granted, Indianapolis' passing game as a whole has underwhelmed as a result of an offensive line that is 30th in pass protection, per Football Outsiders.
