Eagles vs. Patriots: What’s the Game Plan for Philadelphia?

The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Foxborough, Massachusetts, this Sunday to take on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in a clash of two teams with opposite fortunes.
Both the Eagles and Patriots finished the preseason as projected Super Bowl contenders, but only one team remains in conversation for the trophy. Philadelphia's season has not lived up to expectations as it enters Week 13 with a 4-7 record. Additionally, the Eagles are amidst a three-game losing streak and gave up 45 points to their opposing team in consecutive weeks.
Despite the wheels falling off the Philadelphia band wagon, the Eagles are still alive for the NFC East title. The Washington Redskins and New York Giants sit at the top of the division with a 5-6 record, but Philadelphia finishes the regular season with games against both teams. However, before they get to the end of the season the Eagles will face a tough stretch of opponents and it starts this weekend with the Patriots.
