Eli Manning Feeling Unwarranted Heat for Hospital Endorsement

For those of you who are unaware, St. Vincent's Medical Center has an endorsement deal with Eli Manning.
Like any other company (such as Nike) would do, St. Vincent's has paid Eli Manning to be associated with their hospital.  They even opened a birthing center bearing Manning's name.
Recently, Eli Manning told the hospital to keep $500,000 of the money they owed him, as the hospital was already $700,000 in debt.
A very stand up thing for Eli to do.  Fact of the matter is, regardless of what shape the hospital is in, that was $500,000 that they owed Manning, which he kindly told them to keep.
Yet, Manning has been under fire for not giving back the entire sum of what the hospital had paid him over the years.
Craig Carton (host of Boomer and Carton In The Morning on WFAN Radio) recently stated, "It's just a bad job all around.  If you want to do the right thing, give the money back.  That's being a mensch."
