Arizona Cardinals right guard Evan Mathis will miss at least one game due to nagging toe and foot injuries that cropped up in Week 1.
Continue for updates.
Mathis Out vs. Bills Friday, Sept. 23 According to the team's official injury report (via Fox Sports 910's Mike Jurecki), Mathis was ruled out Friday after he didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.
Per Jurecki, Mathis was diagnosed with a sprained foot and was expected to miss somewhere between one and four weeks, but he wound up making a surprise start in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being listed as a game-time decision.
While it's unclear how long the 34-year-old will be out beyond Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, Earl Watford should draw starts in Mathis' place so long as he's sidelined.
Entering Week 3, Watford has made 19 starts since he was selected in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.
