With the start of the 2016 NFL regular season quickly approaching, fantasy football is back in full swing, and last-minute draft preparations are revealing some interesting trends.
For perhaps the first time in modern fantasy football history, wide receivers look to be more popular than running backs as first-round selections. Also, quarterback seems deeper than ever before, which puts less onus on spending a high pick on the most important position in real football.
There is no surefire strategy that will guarantee you a championship or even a trip to the playoffs, but maximizing value and avoiding big-time busts in the early rounds can go a long way toward accomplishing those goals.
