Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Magic: 2010 Week 2 Waiver Pickups

RB Brandon Jackson, Green Bay
Can’t say that I think Jackson is very good or that he’ll succeed if given the lead role in the Packers explosive offense. However, Ryan Grant was in a walking boot after the game and Jackson played reasonably well against the Eagles in Week 1, finishing with 63 yards on 18 carries and 12 receiving yards.
This is a short term deal since Grant is assured of moving back to the top of the depth chart as soon as he is healthy.
QB Michael Vick, Philadelphia
With Kevin Kolb out with concussion, all Vick did was complete 16 of 24 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown and rush 11 times for 103 yards. He led the Eagles to 17 of their 20 points despite entering the game after halftime.
