Fantasy Football Week 8: Braylon Edwards of New York Jets a “Sell” Candidate

Braylon Edwards has been frustrating fantasy owners for the past few years.  After exploding in 2007 for 80 receptions, 1,289 yards and 16 TDs, expectations have been high and results have been exceptionally low.
In 2008, Edwards played in all 16 games for the Browns, managing just 55 catches for 873 yards and three touchdowns.  Needless to say, it was quite a falloff.
In 2009, he split time between Cleveland and New York.  While he once again played in 16 games, he regressed even further, with just 45 catches for 680 yards and four touchdowns.  You can argue that it took him time to acclimate himself to the Jets offense, but that’s just not really enough.  Prior to the trade, he had just 10 catches in four games for Cleveland.
Known as someone who has had problems with drops, the numbers the past two seasons are certainly concerning.
However, in 2010 he appears to have rediscovered his form...at least a little bit.
