Giants’ Manning Looking to Pass Fouts for 11th on Passing Yards List

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning needs 265 passing yards in Sunday's game against the New York Jets to pass Dan Fouts for sole possession of 11th place on the NFL's all-time passing yards list, per pro-football-reference.com.
Currently sitting at 42,776 career yards, Manning appears destined to eventually reach 50,000, a number that has only been achieved by Peyton Manning (71,871), Brett Favre (71,838), Dan Marino (61,361), Drew Brees (59,233) and Tom Brady (56,858).
In terms of the more immediate future, Manning is averaging 275 passing yards per game this season, making him a decent bet to pass Fouts before Sunday's game is finished.
He will have to face a Jets defense that carries a strong reputation, but with superstar cornerback Darrelle Revis ruled out because of a concussion, Manning shouldn't actually have too much trouble moving the ball.
