It's been a far fall from grace for veteran unrestricted free-agent wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who recorded just 45 receptions in the past two years with the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants.

Nicks Working In New Orleans Wednesday, May 18 On Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the New Orleans Saints are "working out a group" of wide receivers that includes Nicks.  
Nicks was once a top two receiver with the Giants alongside Victor Cruz at the beginning of the decade. He was one of Eli Manning's most reliable targets, as he helped New York win its second Super Bowl in four years back in 2011. 
Injuries saw a decrease in his numbers in 2012 before a 2013 season in which he didn't catch a single touchdown pass. That prompted Nicks, who was in search of a big-time deal, to walk in free agency and sign a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts prior to the 2014 season.
