Harrison Smith Injury: Updates on Vikings Safety’s Ankle and Return

Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith was seen on crutches with a walking boot on his left foot following Thursday's 17-15 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, per Tom Pelissero of USA Today.

Smith Also Dealing With Ankle Injury Thursday, Dec. 1 Matthew Coller of 1500 ESPN in Minneapolis said, "Smith hobbling pretty badly after the game. Has been battling an ankle injury."
In his fifth year out of Notre Dame, Smith is in the midst of another solid season. He had 79 combined tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery coming into Thursday's game.
Smith signed a five-year, $51 million contract last offseason that made him the highest-paid safety in league history.
