Houston-Washington: Home ‘Dog Redskins Look to Start 2-0 Against Upstart Texans

After a huge 34-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts last week, the Houston Texans have won over the oddsmakers. NFL lines show Houston -3 over Washington this week as the Texans visit the Redskins Sunday afternoon. 
Arian Foster was the star of the league last week, rushing for a franchise-record 231 yards and three touchdowns against the Colts. It was a huge performance, and one that helped Houston win for just the second time against the Colts in 17 meetings in franchise history.
Despite putting up 34 points, the Texans only needed a 9 of 17 performance for 107 yards and a touchdown out of QB Matt Schaub. Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Johnson was also held in check.
Washington also takes dead aim at a 2-0 start after a huge 13-7 win on NBC’s Sunday Night Football last week over the Dallas Cowboys. It was a dramatic win, one that saw Tony Romo’s 13-yard touchdown pass to Roy Williams get called back on the game’s final play.
