How the San Diego Chargers Became Stronger in 2010

Wow, it seems like every other AFC West team's fans are jumping all over the conclusion that they have gained big ground, and even surpassed the Chargers in the AFC West title hunt.
It started in February as the Chargers started clearing out the stables, and on through July as fan chatter reached a fever pitch about the Chargers losing Vincent Jackson, Marcus McNeill, and Shawne Merriman.
I've got some bad news for you guys: the Chargers have actually gotten stronger. And here comes the worst part: McNeill, Jackson, and Merriman will all be playing the 2010 season in the powder blue jerseys with lighting bolts on them.
I've seen multiple articles out of Oakland, Kansas City, and Denver written under the opinion that their teams are going to not just close a eight-game gap, but win the division and playoff berth, as Chargers fans sat back and left it alone. Don't believe the hype!
