Filling the shoes of Jackson will be a tough, but not impossible task for the San Diego Chargers. The game of football is a vicious cycle that proves to be a quick one as well.
Yes, Vincent Jackson has been a valuable part of Chargers offense over the past two  years, After the declining numbers of LaDainian Tomlinson, Jackson became the number two weapon of choice in the Chargers arsenal behind Gates.
If you look back to 2005, 2006, 2007, Jackson's numbers weren't that great. When he became a starter, Chargers fans were skeptical, when he became a No. 1 receiver, Chargers fans were worried, but he did one thing—he "developed!"
Every wide receiver must develop. Even the great Jerry Rice dropped 15 balls his rookie season. Let me make three points perfectly clear.
1. The 2010 Chargers won't be so dependant on the passing game. Ryan Mathews will balance them out, and be a huge part of the offense.
