San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson is a very unhappy football player due to his current contract situation.
Rumors have been circulated regarding various teams who have interest in Jackson, and teams like the Seahawks and Browns could use a top receiver on their roster—but no one expected the Washington Redskins to be in the mix.
Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan is reportedly a "big fan" of Jackson, as reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune who got the information from an unnamed source.
Since the source is unnamed, one has to think that this is nothing more than a rumor, but think again.
Shanahan has been a "big fan" of Jackson's from back when Jackson was drafted in 2005. When Shanahan was with the Broncos, he had high interest in Jackson and held pick No. 56 and 76.
