Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas (HT: 6’5” WT: 250 lbs)
Positives
Four year contributor with 33 career starts and consistent production.  Sufficient play recognition skills.  Frame is far from maxed out and can be built upon.  Has significant arm length to challenge blockers with his upper body.  Flashes a strong punch to the frame of pass blockers that can get them upright, including a club.  Combats the length of pass blockers with his own to keep from being controlled on contact, will swat away hands.  Effective as a stunting rusher or as a blitzer from off the line of scrimmage.  Rushes with a high motor and has made numerous coverage or effort sacks.  Can overwhelm run blocks when landing his hands to push them backwards.  Sheds run blocks with relative ease by extending his arms to create space. Anticipates blocks on the edge to keep his outside shoulder free and contain edge runs.  Strikes with power as a tackler...
