Jalen Ramsey Injury: Updates on Jaguars DB’s Knee and Recovery

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on May 19 that rookie Jalen Ramsey suffered a small meniscus tear in his right knee. It is uncertain exactly when he will return to the field.

Ramsey Seeking 2nd Opinion on Knee Sunday, May 22 ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that "Ramsey [is] scheduled to meet Dr. [James] Andrews this week," adding, "Surgery likely, but team believes, as of now, he'll be back before opener vs. [Green Bay] Packers."
The Jaguars released a statement on Ramsey's status on May 19:
Ramsey sustained a small tear to the meniscus in his right knee during phase two on-field workouts. Ramsey is obtaining a second opinion next week. More information will be available when Head Team Physician Dr. Kevin Kaplan and the Jaguars athletic training staff determine the appropriate medical care.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on May 19, the hope is Ramsey will be ready for the start of camp. ESPN.com's Dan Graziano reported ...
