James Jones Agrees to Sign with Chargers

Veteran wide receiver James Jones has agreed to join the San Diego Chargers this season, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson, who received a text message from the veteran wide receiver.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network first reported that the Chargers would be adding Jones to the fold.
Rapoport previously reported that Jones was visiting the Chargers, as the team was looking for depth at the position after Stevie Johnson suffered a knee injury.
Jones put together a solid season with the Green Bay Packers in 2015. The San Jose State product made 50 grabs for 890 yards and eight touchdowns in his return to the franchise where he spent the first seven years of his career before a one-year pit stop with the Oakland Raiders.
