Jared Cook Injury: Updates on Packers TE’s Recovery from Foot Surgery

Green Bay Packers tight end Jared Cook will miss the remainder of the team's offseason program as he recovers from foot surgery, according to ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky.

Packers Hopeful Cook Will Return For Training Camp Friday, June 3 Demovsky added that the surgery "was described as 'preventative' and something both Cook and the team wanted to take care of now so that it didn't linger into the regular season."
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Cook could be ready for minicamp "if the Packers wanted to push things." Ryan Cook of the Green Bay Press-Gazette added Cook would have played if there was a game this Sunday.
In March, Cook signed a one-year, $2.75 million deal that includes $825,000 guaranteed after experiencing a statistical slide with the Los Angeles Rams.
