Jared Goff, Rams Agree to Contract: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

The Los Angeles Rams tabbed Jared Goff as their franchise quarterback when they selected him No. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL draft, and the 21-year-old signal-caller is now officially under contract after putting pen to paper on his first professional deal Thursday.
Dani Klupenger of Fox Sports provided a photo of Goff signing the contract:
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the contract is worth $27.9 million over four years with an $18.6 million signing bonus.
Goff cemented himself as one of the nation's top gunslingers when he threw for 12,195 yards and 96 touchdowns during three seasons with the California Golden Bears, but he'll need to adjust to life in less quarterback-friendly surroundings.
Beyond the simple fact that the Rams don't have much in the way of proven playmakers outside of wide receiver Tavon Austin, running back Todd Gurley and veteran pass-catcher Kenny Britt, Goff figures to meet a fairly steep learning curve upon arrival.
