Jason Campbell: Latest News, Rumors, Speculation Surrounding Free-Agent QB

After spending last season in pseudo-retirement, there was speculation on Wednesday that free-agent quarterback Jason Campbell was ready to make an NFL return.

Campbell Not Eyeing NFL Return Thursday, May 12 "Want to officially let the world know I'm ready to play again in 2016. If any team is interested in my services contact my agent Joel Segal," a Campbell Twitter account stated Wednesday.
However, ESPN's Josina Anderson revealed on Thursday morning that this was not Campbell's Twitter account and he is "not coming back to the NFL, at this time." 
Campbell Would be Serviceable Veteran If He Returned Campbell, 34, last played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014. He played in four games, completing 11 passes on 19 attempts for 74 yards. The 2005 first-round pick also played for Washington, the Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns.
