Jasper Brinkley Re-Signs with Giants: Latest Contract Details, Reaction

The New York Giants are bringing back one of their key defensive cogs, as they re-signed linebacker Jasper Brinkley on Tuesday, per Michael Eisen of the team's official website.
Brinkley was an unrestricted free agent and joined the Giants last season after spending his first six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals.   
“This is where I wanted to be,” Brinkley said of returning to New York, per Eisen. “I had a good season last year. Just given the opportunities I had, and given the guys that are here and the mentality the coaches have, there’s definitely a winning mentality here, and I want to be a part of that.”
Contract details were not immediately disclosed.
Brinkley had a breakout year in 2015, finishing third on the team with 67 tackles while also forcing four fumbles.
