Jeff Heuerman Injury: Updates on Broncos Rookie’s Knee and Recovery

The injury bug claimed another NFL rookie Saturday after Denver Broncos third-round draft pick Jeff Heuerman tore his ACL during rookie minicamp.

Heuerman to Miss Rookie Season Saturday, May 9 According to Andrew Mason of DenverBroncos.com, the team expects Heuerman to miss the entire 2015 season.
"I feel terrible for Jeff, and this is a very unfortunate situation," said Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak. "Jeff was going to be a big part of our team this year, and he's still going to be a big part of our team and organization in the future."
Mason provided the circumstances under which Heuerman went down:
Heuerman's injury came a day after Dante Fowler Jr. tore his ACL at the Jacksonville Jaguars' rookie minicamp. The talented pass-rusher is also expected to be out for the season.
