Jets at Bengals: In Game Update

January 9, 2010   ·     ·   Jump to comments

Through two and a half quarters, it looks like the Cincinnati Bengals may have played their cards the wrong way in week 17.
Carson Palmer has come extremely slow out of the gates. He has completed 8 of 16 for 48 yards; one touchdown, one interception. After their only scoring drive in the first-half, he has looked miserable and has been hearing the boos from his faithful Bengals crowd.
We will find out about how beneficial the rests will be for Indianapolis, New Orleans, San Diego, and Arizona later in the playoffs, but as it is right now, it appears the Jets may pull off the upset in Cincinnati.
NOTES:
Back-up running back Shoon Greene has run for 112 yards on 15 carries and has handled the majority of the workload for the Jets. He also has a game-changing 39 yard touchdown.
Rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez has managed the game beautifully completing 10 of 13 passes for 136 yards and one touchdown.
