John Elway Talks Brock Osweiler’s Decision to Skip Broncos’ White House Visit

Brock Osweiler will not join his former Denver Broncos teammates at the White House on Monday, and general manager John Elway seems to be OK with that.
The Houston Texans quarterback is one of two former Broncos who declined to take part in the Super Bowl celebration with President Barack Obama, but Elway is focusing on the guys who will be there, per 9News' Mike Klis.
“That’s Brock’s choice, so all the other guys from my understanding are going to be there, which will be great,” Elway said Thursday. “We get everybody back together and celebrate the great season that we had last year, so it will be fun.”
Arizona Cardinals guard Evan Mathis is the other former Broncos player who will not be in attendance. His new team is conducting physicals that day, per Klis. Omar Bolden, Aaron Brewer, Ryan Harris, Malik Jackson and Danny Trevathan are no longer with Denver but are expected to join the organization Monday.
