Jonathan Stewart: 2011 Fantasy Football Outlook

With all signs pointing to the fact that the notoriously thrifty Carolina Panthers management will not offer DeAngelo Williams a multi-year pact, dynasty league managers should be going all out to acquire Jonathan Stewart.
While both members of the Panthers, DeAngelo Williams averaged 77.8 yards per game as the starter, Jonathan Stewart, on the other hand, has averaged almost 20 yards per game more at 97.5 per game.
At 97.5 yards per game, Jonathan Stewart would have been ranked number two in the league last year and would have amassed over 1,500 rushing yards last season.
Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Stewart only started seven games for the Panthers in 2010 and managed only 74.9 yards last year with Moore and Clausen at the helm, after managing an amazing 150.3 yards per game in three 2009 starts.
Stewart will still be in a time-share in Carolina and with Mike Goodson’s excellent hands, he may be relegated to an early-down back, but Stewart is a workhors...
